Kenneth Waller (5th November 1927 - 28th January 2000) appeared on Coronation Street as Arthur Watts - father of Curly Watts - who portrayed the character between March and July 1988 (actor John Pickles was recast in the role upon the character's return in December 1995).
With an acting CV dating back to the late 1950s, some of his other credits include roles in Starr and Company, Crossroads, Softly Softly: Task Force, The Onedin Line, The Fenn Street Gang, Dixon of Dock Green, Churchill's People, The Liver Birds, Z Cars, Doctor Who, The Professionals, All Creatures Great and Small, Minder, Boon and Bread.
On the bigger screen he appeared in films including Room at the Top, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Scrooge and Carry on Behind.
