Kevin Williams aka "Kevin Short" (born 11th October 1950) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:

After his first role in the programme as a teenager, he went on to train at Jepson College of Dance and Drama in Oldham, and later appeared in weekly repertory at the town's Coliseum Theatre. His distinguished stage career took him to London's West End and National Theatre, including productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Amadeus, Serjeant Musgrave's Dance, Guys and Dolls, The Beggar's Opera, Schweyk in the Second World War, Blondel, The Government Inspector, A Flea in Her Ear, Trelawny of the Wells, Lysistrata, Mary Poppins and the title role in Snoopy, the Musical alongside Susie Blake.

Other television appearances included roles in ITV's Sunday Night Theatre, The Paradise Club, Lazarus & Dingwall, Parallel 9, Comics, Blue Heaven, Harry, The Bill, Real Women, Casualty, Sunburn and Heartbeat.

He combines performing with a prolific writing and directing career, producing over 200 shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and numerous award-winning feature and short films.
