Kim Crowther (née Moore) was a script editor on Coronation Street between July 2001 and October 2002 for 275 episodes (four of them co-credited with Gareth Philips). She was then the programme's producer from Summer 2008 to July 2010. During her time on the show, she oversaw the building of Victoria Court on Victoria Street, the long-running storyline of Tony Gordon and the introduction of the Windass family.
Her last major storyline featured the conclusion of the Tony Gordon storyline, where he burned to death in a fire at Underworld after trying to kill those who he felt betrayed him.
Kim is married to Coronation Street writer Simon Crowther.
Kim had previously served as a storyliner on Emmerdale between 2000 and 2001.
