Kim Dudley was a counsellor at the Marriage Guidance Bureau to whom Ernest Bishop expounded his marital woes in November 1974. The dark-haired woman mainly listened to rather than advised Ernie as he told her about his recent rows with Emily and what had first attracted him to her. Ernie was surprised at how easily he could open up to Kim when a conversation with own wife was arduous at the moment. After Ernie had said all that he came to say, Kim asked him to bring Emily along next time, though he replied that he wasn't going to tell her where he'd been as that would make things worse.
