Knott End or Knott End-on-Sea is a village in Lancashire, England. Minnie Caldwell went on a holiday there in 1933 when it rained all of the week. Many years later, it was the place chosen by Elsie Lappin as her retirement home after she sold the Corner Shop to Florrie Lindley in December 1960.
