Leo Atkin appeared on Coronation Street in two minor roles: in April 2006 he played a postman named Terry and he returned to the programme in March 2012 as an Ice Cream Man.

Having completed a three-year acting course at the Manchester Metropolitan University School of Theatre in 1980, his Curriculum Vitae spans over thirty years.

Other TV and film credits include roles in Coasting, The Eye of Satan, Mersey Beat, Doctors, The Divorce and The Gin Lady, whilst he has been privileged to perform in some of the most beautiful and historic theatres in the world for roles in productions which include the revival of Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens at the Albany Stage; a tour of King Lear playing throughout Europe, Scandinavia and Japan; The Merchant of Venice and Treasure Island - along with productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Octagon Theatre in Bolton; an adaptation of The Old Curiosity Shop; Twelfth Night and See How They Run.
