Leo Firman was the nephew of Firman's Freezers chairman Eric, who employed him to take charge of the Weatherfield branch. Leo soon made enemies when he sexually harassed worker Anne Malone, before turning his attentions to Raquel Wolstenhulme, whom he tried to rape. She confided in Curly Watts that his boss had attacked her, and he bravely reported Leo, who was subsequently sent packing by Eric.
