Lisa Dalton was an old friend of Prem and Nina Mandal. Upon meeting Prem's new mate Dev Alahan in August 2008, the four had dinner. Dev and Lisa soon decided to go on a date, it was then that Dev began an affair with Nina. After Dev and Lisa went on another date, Dev immediately ended the relationship as of his progressing affair with Nina.
Lisa re-appeared later in 2009, bumping into Dev who was having problems with his girlfriend, Prem and Nina's daughter Tara. Lisa agreed to go for a drink with Dev in the Rovers, the pair got drunk and ended up in bed together. A few weeks later, barmaid Poppy Morales told friend Tara of Lisa and Dev's night of passion and Tara warned Lisa not to visit her or Dev again.
