The Living Transplant Co-ordinator worked at a clinic which Roy Cropper visited in January 2018 to discuss donating one of his kidneys to Carla Connor after she was diagnosed with renal failure.

The co-ordinator asked Roy to explain the reason for his donation and then confirmed that he would undergo a series of tests to confirm that he and his kidney were fit and healthy to be a a suitable donor, including blood tests, urine tests, X-ray scans and heart tracing, and possibly a psychological test as some people found a donation to be emotional and, finally, an independent assessment on behalf of the human tissue authority. She warned him to think carefully as the implications of such a donation were huge.

In the event it was Carla's half-brother Aidan Connor who proved a suitable match for making the life-giving donation.
