Leaving the area to live abroad for a few years, she then moved back to London in order to develop her acting career and completed a one-year post-graduate course with the Actors Company at the London Centre for Theatre Studies.
Her other TV credits include minor roles in Soldier Soldier, Boon and Making Out. Lorraine also played foster mother Kim Smith in EastEnders, and featured in the Channel 4 comedy Modern Toss. Lorraine has performed in several theatre productions including A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Cherry Orchard and her West End credits include Flare Path, A Patriot For Me and Chasing Ibsen, and she was part of V-Day at RADA in 2010. She also appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe, with a co-written sketch show, Just Sketch Better.
She is currently living in Greece and has recently co-launched The English Theatre Corfu with John Vincent Dryden.
