Lynn Roden appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:
- Brenda Kingston, the mother of Sam Kingston, who was horrified when she saw that her son was the male stripper in the Rovers during June 2000 under his stage name of The Masked Python
- Terri Metcalfe, a tarot card reader at the Rovers' Hallowe'en evening in October 2003
- Louise, a prospective buyer of 8 Coronation Street when Gail Platt had put the property on the market in an attempt to help out fiancé Joe McIntyre with his debts in December 2009.
She is an ex-chef and graduated from Salford University with a BA (Hons) in Media Performance where she appeared in various roles for their Aspects Theatre Company in productions such as The Crucible and Whale Music. Appearing under variations of her name (Lyn Roden, Lynn Rodan and Lynn Rodden) she has also appeared on television in Emmerdale, Heartbeat, Last of the Summer Wine, Phoenix Nights and five episodes of The Cops in the role of Teresa Farla. Further stage roles include Cake at the Manchester Theatre Festival and Salt of the Earth for the Hull Truck Theatre.
