Malcolm Hebden (born 21st December, 1939 in Burnley) is a British actor most famous for his role on Coronation Street as nosey newsagent Norris Cole, a part he played intermittently between March 1994 and April 1997, before coming back to the programme as a permanent character in December 1999, where he remains to this day. Malcolm also appeared on the Street from July 1974 to March 1975 as Spaniard Carlos, a love interest of Mavis Riley. Between these two roles he also appeared in the Street spin-off The Brothers McGregor.

In December 2017, Malcolm suffered a silent heart attack and was put into an induced coma for three weeks, and he received life saving surgery. It was reported in January 2018 that he was taking a break from the show for personal reasons, although the exact details weren't revealed until July that year.

His other credits include Juliet Bravo, A Bit of a Do and Last of the Summer Wine.
