His other roles include parts in Reckless, Heartbeat, Clocking Off and Emmerdale while on stage he was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company for two years and has also appeared in Enemy of the People, Seasons Greetings, School for Scandal, Phantom of the Opera and The Importance of Being Earnest. Prior to acting, he was indeed a qualified solicitor working for a family law firm and changing professions at the age of twenty-six, after which he trained at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
