Mark Stratton appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:
- Det Con Beckworth, who in October 1986 called at 3 Coronation Street when Emily Bishop discovered her engagement ring had been stolen
- The Manager of the Stooping Grange Hotel, where Maria Sutherland took Tyrone Dobbs on the night of his 18th birthday in December 2000
- The Vicar who officiated at the christening of Joshua Peacock in September 2002
His other credits include roles in The Bill, Casualty, Heartbeat, Emmerdale, The Royal and Blue Murder, while on stage he has appeared in productions of Fur Coat and No Knickers, Privates on Parade, Up 'N' Under, A View From the Bridge, Piaf, Behind the Scenes at the Museum, Friends Uninvited, Having a Ball, The Tempest, Touched, Callistro, Hobson's Choice and Jack and the Beanstalk.
