Martin Oldfield (born September 1945 in Macclesfield) was either seen or heard on Coronation Street in six roles:
- Tom Hudson, a Community Development Officer for Weatherfield Council in August 1983
- Mr Reeman, a private detective hired by Angela Hawthorne to follow husband Derek Wilton in December 1987
- A Motorist who picked up Joanne Khan in July 1990
- Solicitor Edward Welch who represented Bet Lynch upon her return to the area in June 2002
- A Radio Announcer heard in December 2005
- A Commentator heard in December 2008.
Also a renowned voice-over artist, his other credits include roles in All Creatures Great and Small, Strangers, Bulman, Albion Market, Grange Hill, The Bill, Heartbeat, A Touch of Frost, Blue Murder, Waterloo Road, Emmerdale, Shameless, DCI Banks, Mount Pleasant, Vera and the films A Flame to the Phoenix, Vroom, Charlotte Gray and The Mark of Cain.
On stage he has appeared in productions of Pride and Prejudice and Pierrepoint: The Hangman's Tale.
