Michael McNally (born 1963 in Gateshead) appeared in Coronation Street in November 1985 as Tim Faulkner, a boyfriend of Susan Barlow's
He also appeared in Crossroads, The Return of the Antelope, The Chief, Men Behaving Badly, Heartbeat, Surgical Spirit, Casualty, The Bill and Badger.
A performer from an early age, he appeared on Opportunity Knocks at the age of thirteen and later had his own eponymous programme on Tyne Tees Television as well as reporting spots on Going Live and Holiday.
For a time, he was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
