Michael Turner (born 19th July 1921 in South Africa, died 14th July 2012 in Wiltshire) appeared in two roles in Coronation Street: in November 1973 he played Customs and Excise representative Mr Geddes and he returned to the programme in January 1981 as dustman Arthur Webster.

In a long career of some fifty years he also appeared in Emergency-Ward 10, The Fellows, The Avengers, Doctor Who, Big Breadwinner Hog, Callen, Barlow at Large, Z Cars, The Brothers, Crown Court, Within These Walls, To Serve Them All My Days, Crossroads (in the regular role of J. Henry Pollard), The Ruth Rendell Mysteries and The Bill.

On stage he appeared in Othello at the National Theatre in 1966 and Julius Caesar at the Old Vic in 1962.
