Mr Bradbury and his wife were an elderly couple who made a two-hour coach trip to Blackpool in October 2014. They were having trouble setting up their deckchairs at the Tower Headland and Roy Cropper offered his assistance. He was there to scatter Hayley Cropper's ashes but watching the gently bickering but loving couple made him unable to go on with the act and he returned to Weatherfield with his task unfulfilled.
