Mrs Oldred was another dissatisfied customer of builder Pat Hegherty who, as per his usual custom, had dropped one commitment for a higher-paying one and left her bathroom half-finished to work on the lucrative contract for the Rosamund Street Medical Centre. She confronted him in Roy's Rolls where she screamed into his face that she'd not had a bath for ten days. Partner Steve McDonald suggested he finish her job but to be quick about it before boss Duggie Ferguson found out.
