Nakib Narat appeared in Coronation Street as the Hindu Priest who officiated at the funeral service of Sunita Alahan in April 2013.
He trained at the University of Wales and has also appeared in Doctors and Coup while his stage work includes roles in The Crucible (John Proctor), Under Beachwood and Before Juliet
For many years in the late 1980s and early 1990s he was a presenter on Granada Television regional programmes.
