Nichola McHugh (born 3rd October 1975 in Warrington) appeared on Coronation Street in August 2002 as the building society Mortgage Advisor who granted Gail Hillman a £17,500 extension on the mortgage for 8 Coronation Street.

Graduating from the Arden School of Theatre in 1998, she has been credited for roles in Children's Ward and Love in the 21st Century, along with several short films including Beating the Dog, The Chemist, The Will, The Bag Lady, Secret Hidden Princess, Scotoma and The Icehouse Project.

On stage she has appeared in productions of Miss Julie, The Threepenny Opera, The Tempest, The Sea, Bedtime Socks and Lemonade, Trouble and A Caribbean Abroad.
