Nicholas Camm played three roles on Coronation Street: in February 2000 he appeared as DS Johnson who took Fred Elliott in for question after he was found in a suburban brothel run by Mrs Mawdsley (Fred was entirely innocent of the charge, having gone there for a back massage). The actor then appeared in February 2005 as Dean Greenway, the husband of Jill who was attempting to move her belongings out of the marital home without her husband's knowledge. Finally, he has appeared five times as a Paramedic called to separate incidents involving Street residents between January 2008 and December 2010.
The actor trained at the Rose Bruford College and is a baritone singer as well as a stand-up comic. He has made many stage appearances across the north-west of England in productions such as Of Mice and Men, Prime Pinter, Macbeth, The BFG and Kes. Television appearances include Hollyoaks, Waterloo Road, Between the Sheets, Emmerdale, Heartbeat and The Cops.
