Nikki Sanderson (born 28th March 1984, Blackpool) played Candice Stowe from Episode 4711 (5th November 1999) to Episode 6156 (7th November 2005) She then appeared in Coronation Street: Pantomime on Boxing Day the same year. Her only role prior to Coronation Street was in Children’s Ward. Her biggest role since has been in Heartbeat. She has also appeared on TV many times as herself, including singing on various shows such as a Coronation Street Stars in Their Eyes special in 2002 (as LeAnn Rimes), Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes in 2004, (this time as Britney Spears), and X Factor: Battle of the Stars. Her All-Star Family Fortunes game against Greg Rusedski was chosen to air on Christmas Day in 2007.

She dated fellow Street star Danny Young from 2005 to February 2009.
