The Nurse was one of the medical team at Weatherfield General who tended to Leanne Battersby after she had sustained injuries in a car crash in June 2007. When it had been revealed that Paul Connor had a passion for prostitutes, he set out to get revenge on Leanne as he locked her inside the boot of his car. As an emotional Paul drove around Weatherfield his driving became more erratic and, running a red light, his car ploughed into the path of an oncoming truck.
The nurse allowed Leanne's stepmother Janice into the Intensive Care Unit to visit her, but advised that due to her concussion, Leanne was likely to continue to sleep right through until the morning.
