Pal Aron was born in 1971 in Birmingham and became a professional actor after appearing with the Theatre of the Unemployed in his home city. He appeared in two roles on Coronation Street: he initially played the role of Sunita Alahan's brother, Jayesh Parekh, in 2001 (the role was later played by Ace Bhatti) and then returned as Sonny Dhillon irregularly between 2006 and 2007.

As well as appearing in The Vacillations of Poppy Carew, The Family Man and On Road, he has also been a regular in Casualty (as Adam Osman between 1998 and 2000), The Bill (as Brandon Kane between 2002 and 2004 – the role which prevented him returning as Jayesh Parekh) and The Royal Today (as Vijay Chohan in 2008).

He has also acted on stage with the RSC to great acclaim.
