Paul Courtenay Hyu (born in 1968) is an actor who, on Coronation Street played an unnamed Doctor in June 2008 and July 2009; returning to the programme as Doctor Philip Shen in April 2012.

Paul grew up in North Yorkshire, one of three children of an English mother and Chinese Guyanese father, but when he was ten his dad decided to move to Germany. He went with them for a year, then he was sent back to Harrogate where he went to boarding school.
