Paul Marquess (born 23rd June 1964 in Belfast) was a storyliner (then called a "story associate") for 9 episodes of Coronation Street in April 1995. He returned to the programme just under a year later as a story editor for another 200 episodes to his credit in four stints from March 1996 to July 1997.
He later moved into producing and worked on Picking up the Pieces, Alas, Vegas, Brookside, Family Affairs, The Bill and Hollyoaks.
He also created and wrote for Footballers' Wives, M.I.T.: Murder Investigation Team and London Kills. Along with his ex-Coronation Street colleagues Darren Fairhurst and Steve Hughes, he created Suspects.
