Penny Capper appeared on Coronation Street in October and December 1997 as shop assistant Cheryl Jones, who worked alongside Jon Lindsay at Manchester Airport's Tie 'n' Fly shop.
Graduating from Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in 1991, other credits include roles in Heartbeat, Own Goal, The Royal, Doctors, Emmerdale, Prisoners Wives and The Sparticle Mystery, while on stage she has appeared in productions of She Stoops to Conquer, I Am a Camera, A Naughty Night to Swim In, The Decameron, Bedroom Farce, Jumpers and In a Moment.
For the last few years she has been touring her one woman comedy show Welcome To Fabulous Jenny Vegas.
