Peter Bourke (born 13th October 1950 in Wells, Somerset) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly as Brian Dodds, who made a play for Deirdre Hunt while they holidayed in Majorca in October 1974; and he returned to the programme in December 1993 as Roger Dillon QC.

He graduated from RADA in 1972.

His other credits include roles in David Copperfield, Nicholas Nickleby, The Mayor of Casterbridge, Hazell, Studio, Traffik, The Bill and Doctor Who.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Henry IV, Henry V and Perkin Warbreck for the Royal Shakespeare Company, along with Bedroom Farce and Dial 'M' for Murder for Bill Kenwright Ltd. Other works include Wait Until Dark, Canterbury Tales, The Browning Version, Harlequinade, The Elephant Man, The Provok'd Wife, When We Are Married, Time and the Conways, Exclusive, The Village Fete, Donkeys' Years, Sketches by Boz, Peace in Our Time, The Suitcase Kid, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Elsie and Norm's Macbeth, Clarion and The Tempest.
