Ralph Hill Lawton (born 26th October 1927 in Brierley Hill, West Midlands; died 18th August 1994 in Cradley Heath, West Midlands) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly as a delivery man for Garbutts caterers in May 1973; and he returned to the programme as the vicar who conducted Alan Bradley's funeral in December 1989.

His other credits included roles in Crossroads, The Canal Children, Angels, God's Wonderful Railway and Emmerdale Farm, along with the 1981 Oscar-winning film Chariots of Fire and Leon the Pig Farmer.

On stage, he had a part in 42nd Street in the West End. While for radio, he appeared in The Archers in several roles as well as Saturday Night Theatre and Afternoon Theatre.
