The Registrar worked at the Weatherfield Register Office in the early 1990s. He officiated at the unions of Mike Baldwin and Jackie Ingram, Martin Platt and Gail Tilsley, Rita Fairclough and Ted Sullivan, and Alma Sedgewick and Mike Baldwin (at the Imperial Hotel). All four weddings went without incident.
