Robert Hartley (born 18th November 1915 in Liverpool, died 16th October 1997 in Ealing, London) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:
- A Liverpool policeman in July 1966
- Newton & Ridley drayman Vince Boyle in April and June 1968
- VAT Inspector David Spencer in October 1973.
His other television credits include Duty Bound, Z Cars, Dixon of Dock Green, The First Lady, The Main Chance, The Doctors, The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, New Scotland Yard, Justice, Marked Personal, Crown Court, A Kind of Loving, London's Burning and the regular role of Mr Keating in Grange Hill from 1979 to 1984.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Whistler's Mother, Daughter of Desire, An Air For Murder, Wolf's Clothing, Someone's Waiting, The Masters and Macbeth.
