Robert Maxfield appeared in Coronation Street between 1986 and 1992 in the irregular role of Julian, the pianist at the Rovers. He returned to the series in June 2007 as Maurice Pond and again in November 2009 as Horace Steel. He has also appeared in Emmerdale and Heartbeat.
