Roger Ashton-Griffiths (born 19th January 1957) appeared in Coronation Street intermittently between May 2014 and January 2015 as an unnamed Neurosurgeon who treated both Tina McIntyre and Sinead Tinker.

He graduated from Lancaster University and the University of East London, and began his career as a singer with English National Opera. His long list of television credits includes The Young Ones, C.A.T.S. Eyes, Grange Hill, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, The Darling Buds of May, The Wimbledon Poisoner, Ivanhoe, Micawber, Henry VIII: Mind of a Tyrant, The Musketeers, Doctor Who, Torchwood and Game of Thrones.

Film roles include Young Sherlock Holmes, The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover , Chicago Joe and the Showgirl, Shadowlands, The Madness of King George, Jude and Gangs of New York. Theatre roles include parts in King Lear, Sweeney Todd, Space Queen Maladjusta and Archangels Don't Play Pinball.
