Roland MacLeod (1935 - 3rd April 2010) appeared on Coronation Street between September 1993 and April 1994 as Bernard Morton, vicar at St. Saviour's Church and close companion of Emily Bishop.

Before taking up acting, he taught English and drama at a school on the Isle of Wight.

With numerous screen credits to his name, these include roles in Softly Softly, Nicholas Nickleby, Broaden Your Mind, Clochemerle, The Fenn Street Gang, Sykes, To Death Us Do Part, Ripping Yarns, Dick Barton: Special Agent, Grange Hill, Angels, Porterhouse Blue, Mr. Majeika, Doctors and Misfits, along with a role in the 1988 film A Fish Called Wanda.
