Ronald Harvi appeared in Coronation Street in April 1967 as ratepayers association member Mr Steele who persuaded David Barlow to stand as a council candidate in the belief that they were talking to his brother, Ken.

Harvi appeared for several Granada Television series in the late 1960s and early 1970s including The Fellows, Spindoe, Mr Rose, The Stories of DH Lawrence and 'Crown Court.

He also acted with the Manchester Library Theatre Company and performed in plays and readings for Radio 3 and Radio 4.
