Roy Trevor Holder (born 15th June 1946 in Birmingham, died 9th November 2021 in Surrey) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in May and November 1963 as school pupil Michael Butterworth; and he returned to the programme in September 1987 as the shady Mickey Lister, an old friend of Jack Duckworth.

His other television credits included roles in The Chem. Lab. Mystery, Z Cars, Ace of Wands, Crown Court, Angels, Spearhead, Penmarric, Sorry!, Doctor Who, The Bill, Middlemarch and EastEnders.

Film roles included Whistle Down the Wind, Murder Ahoy, The Virgin Soldiers, The Land That Time Forgot, Out of the Darkness, Robin Hood and War Horse.

On stage, he appeared in the National Theatre productions of The Royal Hunt of the Sun, Othello, Hobson's Choice, The Dutch Courtesan, Much Ado About Nothing, Mother Courage and her Children, Love for Love and The Storm. Other works included Backbone, She Stoops to Conquer and Venus Observed.
