Saj was the short-lived boyfriend of Rosie Webster whom she had met when the Websters went away on holiday to Majorca near the end of August 2008. Described by Rosie's mother Sally as "a scratter from Stockport", she wondered what Rosie saw in him. The pair only went out on a couple of dates in Weatherfield following their holiday romance.
When Rosie disappeared later in the following month, Sally and Kevin opened a bank statement addressed to their daughter and were shocked to discover that she'd won £25,000 from a lottery company. They assumed that she'd gone off with Saj somewhere and the pair were living the high life.
