Shaun Curry (5th June 1937 - 2009) appeared on Coronation Street in August 1981 as Harry Fox. A friend of garage owner Ron Sykes, he warned mechanic Brian Tilsley off his wife Glenda.

Born in London, he was part-educated at Buckingham College, Harrow and served for a time with the Irish Guards.

His other credits include roles in No Hiding Place, Z Cars, The Sweeney, Secret Army, Blake's 7, The Professionals, Fox, Grange Hill, The Clairvoyant, Just Good Friends, London's Burning, Wycliffe, The Bill, Holby City, Waking the Dead, Doctors and the films Death Is a Woman, The Fiction Makers, Up the Junction, Nobody Runs Forever, The Last Shot You Hear, A Bridge Too Far, Let's Get Laid, Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, The Guns and the Fury, The Doctor and the Devils and U.F.O.

On stage, he appeared in The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Troilus and Cressida, The Devils, Curtmantle, Julius Caesar, The Comedy of Errors, Henry VI, Edward IV, Richard III, Catiline and The Tempest for the Royal Shakespeare Company, and productions of Maggie May, The Sack Race, Death of a Salesman, She Stoops to Conquer, A Streetcar Named Desire, Windy City, Mutiny!, 42nd Street and Cinderella.
