Sheila Vaughan appeared on Coronation Street in two different roles: as a Lady who cooed over baby Joshua when Ashley Peacock and Claire Casey took a daytrip to Blackpool in November 2003; and returned to the programme as the Civilian Reception Officer who was manning the front desk of Weatherfield Police Station in October 2004.
With an Acting Diploma from LAMDA, other on-screen credits include roles in Hunt for the Yorkshire Ripper, Nice Guy Eddie, The Royal Today, Emmerdale and the 2012 Royle Family Christmas Special. On stage she has appeared in productions of The Whitby Bell, My Mother Said I Never Should, When the Wind Blows, The Killing of Sister George and Blythe Spirit.
