Sid Cooper was a co-worker of Derek Wilton's at Chuckles Novelty Co. When Derek told Chloe he wasn't going to the warehouse Christmas party, Chloe joked that Sid would take it personally. At the party, Sid gave Derek a letter from the boss which turned out to be a letter of dismissal. Sid and Chloe locked up the shop after the party, not realising Derek had got drunk and had fallen asleep inside.
