Simon Coury appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in July 2000 as DSS Officer Keith Hallam, who interviewed Spider Nugent for a position of Team Supervisor; and he returned to the programme in November 2002 as Mr Charlesworth, a consultant at Weatherfield General overseeing the unconscious Audrey Roberts who had been hospitalised following a fire that son-in-law Richard Hillman had deliberately started at her house.

Other credits on-screen include roles in Our Friends in the North, Soldier Soldier, Clocking Off, EastEnders, Heartbeat, Emmerdale, Inspector George Gently, Murphy's Law, Ripper Street, Foyle's War and Damo and Ivor.

On stage he has appeared in productions of The Tempest, Betrayal, Wild Honey, Kind Hearts and Coronets, Racing Demon, Hamlet, Macbeth, 84 Charing Cross Road, Peter Pan, Anatomy of a Seagull, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Vortex and An Ideal Husband.
