Simon Stallworthy was a script editor for 232 episodes of Coronation Street from September 2003 to August 2004. Of these, 182 were co-credited with Gareth Philips, a further 21 with Philips and Kathryn O'Connor, 24 with O'Connor alone and 5 with Jenny White.
He graduated with a BA (Hons) from the University of Bristol. Prior to Coronation Street, he was the executive director of the Hull Truck Theatre and the Octagon Theatre and the producer of the BBC series Telling Lives. He went on to become a director of the Durham Gala Theatre and the Wycombe Swan Theatre. Among his productions was his own adaptation of James Herriot's All Creatures Great and Small.
