Solicitor (Episode 6955)
Solicitor
First appearance 26th November 2008
Number of appearances 1
Played by Keith Woodason

This unnamed Solicitor represented Becky Granger at Weatherfield Magistrates Court during her trial for an assault charge in November 2008. Upon learning from Becky that her witness, Steve McDonald, was not going to be attending court, the solicitor pointed out that he could be arrested and that the prosecution had a strong case. The solicitor reprimanded DC Hooch, the arresting officer, about his unprofessional behaviour as he taunted Becky about her absent witness.

However, just as the Judge was ready for the trial to proceed, Steve showed up in the courtroom and was invited to take the witness stand. Upon hearing his evidence, Becky's charges were ultimately dropped.
