St. Jude's Hospital

St. Jude's Hospital was a hospital in Newton-le-Willows which Mary Taylor's son Jude Appleton was abandoned at shortly after his home-birth. A nurse working at the hospital, Maureen Nuttall, named Jude after the establishment and Mary read about it in the paper which helped her to track him down over thirty years later.
