Talk: Episode 2000 (2nd June 1980)

I've deleted the entry that a special VHS release was issued in June 1980 to celebrate the 2000th episode. "Broadcast" magazine in November 1982 was quite specific that "The Magic of Coronation Street" was the first commercial release of any Coronation Street material from Granada and had a special feature on the company entering the home VHS range for the first time. In addition no other Corrie related site anywhere has ever stated that such a release as the supposed 1980 one ever took place. Moreover I've seen the TV Times for the period and own a copy of the 2000th episode special and they don't mention it either.--Jtomlin1uk 08:01, September 7, 2009 (UTC)
