Original cast list[]
- How does this site determine whether or not an actor was a member of the original cast? For example, both Arthur Lowe and Doreen Keogh are listed as original cast members but neither appear in the original cast photo. I would have thought that only those who appear in said photo could be considered to be an original cast member. David French 04:21, February 1, 2010 (UTC)
There are other parameters to take into account such as who in his original twelve scripts who did Tony Warren envisage living in each house. Besides, would you exclude Esther Hayes from the cast as she doesn't appear in the photo, even though she appears in episode 2 for the first time alongside Jack Walker, Minnie Caldwell, Martha Longhurst and Christine Hardman?--Jtomlin1uk 09:07, February 1, 2010 (UTC)
- I was under the impression the photo only included cast members from the first two episodes? I don't think anyone would count the handful of guest cast in the photo as original cast members. David 11:49, February 1, 2010 (UTC)
Surviving cast list change required[]
The list of surviving original cast members was last updated in 2020, but Ernst Walder has since died in 2021. Sam Talk 20:55, 7 January 2023 (UTC)
