Terence Hillyer (born 14th May 1950 in Meriden, Warwickshire) appeared in two roles in Coronation Street: in April and May 1983 he played Suzie Birchall’s abusive short-term husband Terry Goodwin and he returned to the programme eleven years later in the recurring part of bookie Sean Skinner, appearing between August 1994 and May 1997.

His other roles include, for the stage, a season with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1991 and roles in State of Affairs at the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith and See How They Run at the Greenwich Theatre. Television roles include Boon, The New Statesman, The Tenpercenters, Heartbeat, The Bill and Holby City but a speciality of Terence’s is musical theatre with roles in Rocky Horror Show, Little Shop of Horrors and Peggy Sue Got Married in this genre.
