Tim Wylton (born 27th February 1940 in Bangor, Wales) appeared on Coronation Street in August 2000 as the Forensic Expert called to give evidence at Jez Quigley's trial for the murder of Tony Horrocks heard at Weatherfield Crown Court.

Educated at Strathallan School, Perthshire, he graduated from RADA in 1960.

With on-screen credits spanning five decades, they include roles in Festival, City 68', The Dustbinmen, The Liver Birds, The Sweeney, The Good Companions, Strangers, Juliet Bravo, Mog, The Bretts, A Bit of a Do, All Creatures Great and Small, Boon, Rumpole of the Bailey, The Lifeboat, Wycliffe, Playing the Field, As Time Goes By, My Hero, Doctors, Heartbeat and Midsomer Murders, along with the films S.W.A.L.K., Under Milk Wood, Blue Blood, Whoops Apocalypse and Curse of the Pink Panther.

On stage he appeared in many productions for the Royal Shakespeare Company including The Tempest or The Enchanted Island, Julius Caesar, The Comedy of Errors, Henry VI, Edward IV, Richard III, Oedipus Rex, Richard II, Henry V, Love's Labour's Lost, The Merchant of Venice, Hamlet, The Government Inspector, Twelfth Night, As You Like It, The Latent Heterosexual, Wild Oats, Coriolanus and The School for Scandal.
