Tom Bowles appeared in Coronation Street in April 1987 as Weatherfield Gazette photographer Eric Harvey.
He has also appeared in The BBC Television Shakespeare, Yes, Prime Minister, Children's Ward, Prime Suspect, Between the Lines, In Suspicious Circumstances, Accused, Soldier Soldier, Dangerfield, Dickems, Foyle's War, The Bill, Ultimate Force, Heartbeat and Midsomer Murders.
On film he had a role in the 1999 movie Tom's Midnight Garden .
On stage, he appeared in Sweeney Todd, The Snow Queen, Uncle Vanya and Richard III, the latter both for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
On radio he has been heard in Detective and Sort of a Hero.
